This Privacy Policy explains how MindShape (“we”, “us”) handles information in connection with our image-generation web application (the “Service”). We built the Service as a private tool for creating and editing photos with AI. We keep data collection to the minimum required to make it work.

Short version: We only process the images and text you give us in order to generate the pictures you ask for. We do not sell your data, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not share it except with the AI provider that produces the images. If you connect Pinterest, we only read your own content to import reference photos — nothing is posted or shared.

1. Who we are

2. Information we process

Images you upload (for example a model photo, a clothing photo, or a location photo) that you provide as references for generation.
Text you enter (prompts and optional details).
Generated images created from your inputs, which are stored on our server so you can access them again later.
Basic technical logs (timestamps, request status, errors) used only to operate and debug the Service.

We do not intentionally collect names, addresses, payment details, or other sensitive personal information through the Service.

3. Pinterest integration

The Service may let you import reference images from Pinterest. If you choose to connect your Pinterest account:

We request access only to your own Pins and Boards, and only to let you browse and import images as references inside the Service.
We access this data on a read-only basis. We never create, edit, delete, or post anything to your Pinterest account.
We do not store your Pinterest boards or pins beyond what is needed to show them to you during your session, and we do not share this data with anyone.
You can revoke our access at any time from your Pinterest account settings (Apps / connected accounts). Revoking access immediately stops all further data access.

Our use of information received from Pinterest APIs adheres to the Pinterest Developer Guidelines and Platform Policies, including any limitations on use and transfer of such data.

4. How we use information

We use the information solely to provide the Service: to generate and edit the images you request, to store your results so you can retrieve them, and to keep the Service running securely. We do not use your content to train models, for advertising, or for profiling.

5. Third parties

BytePlus (Seedream image model) — the images and prompts you submit are sent to BytePlus to generate the requested pictures, subject to BytePlus’s own terms and privacy practices.
Pinterest — only if you connect it, and only as described in Section 3.

We do not sell or rent your data to any third party.

6. Data retention and deletion

Generated images and reference uploads are kept on our server so you can access them. You can delete generated images from within the Service at any time. To request deletion of all your data, email mindshapeai@gmail.com and we will remove it promptly.

7. Security

The Service is protected by access authentication, and secret keys are stored on the server and never exposed to the browser. While no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children and is intended for adult use only. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the latest revision.
